Jordan's abstract glazes start with the colour of a single flower or a field at dusk, then move toward something looser. She paints on glazed stoneware and tiles, often in series of three to five. Her pieces have been shown in Chicago, Tallinn and Almaty, and she taught ceramic decoration at a regional arts college for twelve years.
Jordan taught ceramic decoration for twelve years before she turned to it full time. Her 2022 show Quiet Colour was held at Focus Gallery, and she often works in series, testing one idea in several colour keys before she moves on.
