Adam paints large figurative scenes on glazed ceramic, working from memory rather than from models. His figures float, climb and tangle in landscapes that feel half-remembered. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and has exhibited in Vienna, Berlin and Almaty.
Adam works standing up, moving between several large dishes and bowls at once. His solo exhibition Textured Blue Dish opens at Focus Gallery on 22 January 2027, with pieces he has worked on over several years.
